How they unfurl in dramatic fashion. Someone told me that these are edible at this stage. Is it true?

Paul, I love this stage..the unfurling. Very dramatic isn’t it!
As for eating the fronds? I wouldn’t have a scooby doo..
I did google this, I think there is a chance you can eat certain species. I think!
