This Dierama had reddish flowers, is now totally congested and only has brown leaves. It is the parent of the previous. Has anyone successful divided? They hate root disturbance. I have lost in the past trying to do so. Help!

Have googled Dierama division, do in the Spring it says. Oh well!

I've only grown them once, from seed, just got to be good size plants flowering beautifully then we had that cold winter and lost the flipping lot!!!!

Have cut masses of dead foliage from the base, now I really must be patient and wait till next spring!!!!

I have now a wand of flowers developing on this clump, will keep the seeds if they develop. 2014 it was a rich red, the seedling flowers from 3 years ago,a mauve flower.
