That is the local common name for Dietes. Depending on if it lasts 1 day (D. iridioides) or 2 days (D. grandiflora). My D.g. is blooming really hard since we have been having a wet spring.

I might have them both. It is winter here with temperatures between 1ºC and 12ºC.
I'll pay attention to how long they last.
