Evergreen shrub, reaching six feet in ten years, eventually double that size, but can be pruned a little in the summer. For light shade (or full sun in cooler parts of the UK) but sheltered from cold winds

Mine had a judicious reduction a couple of years ago, and I think it will need a little more soon to reduce the spread

Shirley - they do grow, but stealthily. You suddenly look at it one day and think "golly, you've got big!"
