Our fatsia developed three huge cream flower spikes last summer 2007.
It is in a container and has grown to over two metres high. It seems to need a lot of slow release food during the growing season, and we have to watch for caterpillars who seem to attack the leaves from time to time, but it is a lovely structural plant and gives good all year colour.

Nice to know Grenville that these plants are happy in containers I might just put ours in one at least that way we can swap around whenever we like.Hel.xxx.
