Fritillaria persica - 2015

AndrewR

By Andrewr

Fritillaria persica - 2015 (Fritillaria persica)

Bulb up to three feet tall for a loamy soil in sun or light shade. Hardy in the south of the UK, but more problematical further north as late frosts kill the growth.
You may get only stems and no flowers the first year after planting, but it should bloom in subsequent years.

Mine bloomed the last two years but is blind this year. Same for the Crown Imperials too.
