A close up section of my Gardenia which is loaded with buds. The whole plant has many buds. I hope it starts blooming for Christmas! Last year it had a flower on Christmas Day. Photo taken on December 19, 2024.

It’s never had this many buds during this time of year. It typically blooms in spring and summer. I’m so looking forward to the beautiful fragrance.
