Karen - the books will tell you these are not hardy and I am surprised they have come through the past two winters. You may need to grow them in a pot in Scotland and bring them indoors for winter. I bought them from Jacques Amand

Ah, I did wonder if you'd got them from JA. I don't think I'll bother if they have to come indoors, but I might try them in the greenhouse over winter in pots. Then, if they survive, I could bring them into the garden later and just keep them in pots......? I may not bother though Andrew. I have quite a few byzaniums and I really love them!
