Hibiscus rosa-sinensis - Tropical Hibiscus

This Hibiscus tree had a very thick trunk. I think it's the thickest trunk I've ever seen...so it must be pretty old. It has sing pink flowers. Photo taken Oct. 8, 2010 on Coronado Island.

I though it was H. 'White Wings' also. But I think the flowers are too pink.
I've seen taller Hibiscus trees here...however, the trunk on this tree is probably the thickest I've seen.

It looks almost like a 'White Wings', maybe a 'Classic Pink'? A neighbor down the street had a 'San Diego Red' Hibiscus almost that big up until 1990, but that 20 deg. freeze did it in!
