This Wax Vine was growing up in a Stenocarpus sinuatus - Firewheel tree at the San Diego Zoo. Photo taken Oct. 27, 2010.

Beautiful the one I had indoors trailing across my ceiling was white with a tiny red dot like a cross.

I have no longer have but yes it flowered in doors for years and yes it had the nectar too I got it off a lady that own a brass orniment shop she had it hanging across the shop ceiling I was after a cutting for years then when she moved she said I could have it that was back in 1985.

Wow! That would be an incredibly large plant by now (if you still had it). I know the plants are very long-lived.

Yes it would I had it trailed along the ceiling on cup hooks lol
It died when I moved not enough light in this house like the previous house .

That's terrible it died! This plant does like a lot of hot sun.

Perhaps this house was nt warm enough then my son in law always says it as cold as the grave lol.

This plant can tolerate cool conditions. It does like warm weather to bloom, though.
