You need to be a little sensible dead heading this or it could take over, but worth having anyway.

Very nice. I had lots of these when I lived in NorCal.

If you don't deadhead it you WILL have lots of them!!

They're very easy to pull out, also. When they got into the grass I would just mow them down. LOL!

Easy to identify as seedlings too.

I'd love some seeds!

I'll happily add some to your parcel Alex, but can I ask you to check the legal status in your country first? I would hate for us to be responsible for introducing an invasive species...........

It looks like that thing they call American Balsam. I think they belong to the same family.

It's common name is Kashmir Balsam Hywel. Closely related to the dreaded Himalayan Balsam (I.glandulifera) but not nearly as invasive.

That's the one. I got the wrong country lol :D
I'm glad it isn't invasive. It looks rather delicate.

Wrong continent even!
I do grow a couple of selections of I.glandulifera too.

Yes ... American Balsam was a sort of liniment my grandfather used to use lol I remember it now ... :D

Strange how some things lodge themselves in our memories................
