It's looking good! It's surprising to see so many flowers on your plant. I have many of these throughout my front yard...and when they bloom I cut the flowers off.

It was looking so good and as you noticed it was full of blooms. They're all trimmed back now. The poor thing has had a very good haircut!

Yes, this plant does need to be cut back regularly or it gets wild. :>)

Yes that does come pretty close! We call them Bloodleaf here and they're regarded as a bit of an old-fashioned plant. This is the first time I've ever grown one though and I would love a couple more.
