Absolute gem of a plant. Unusual growth habit for an Iris as the fans grow at the end of bamboo like canes.

Probably my favourite Iris now. Ideal for an exotic themed garden as well.

Very pretty, but does Iris confusa become a bit of a sprawling nuisance?

Biggest hassle I have with it is the slugs eat the young fans if you forget the pellets. Even in a pot it multiplies like buggery so maybe in Hampshire it would spread rapidly but not rural Oxfordshire.

See who else is growing Iris confusa.
