Intermediate space age Bearded Iris 'Concertina'. Quite a dull day for its opening.

I've never had a problem with slugs eating them but this year grrrrrr.

Yes, hope it's doing ok. Slugs not a problem yet, but just opened the papery sheath on Champagne Elegance and sprayed with soapy water as only this one's bud are covered in white/green fly. Knocked the head off another different variety, staking its neighbour.
