I only cut the leaves of the germanicas and that is only if they are diseaesed of you are moving them, make sure you leave enough on for the plant to grow well and feed all your irises in spring and after flowering, good luck !

Yes so do I, I am going to have to move these for next year as they are not tall enough to be seen where they are, my fault.
