You right it really is cheerful! I love the little pom poms. At our old house a neighbour had one that flowered all through til the Autumn, that was before I got into gardening and I vowed that I'd get one as soon as I had a garden of my own. I was surprised that it was budding already actually! :-)

The flowers will soon be open! I really like this shrub. It gives so much cheerful colour so early in the year and flowers for ages. Having seen your photo, I must check my plant for any opening buds this weekend!
