Although I'd sown some seeds of a mix of Thompson & Morgan hybrid Kniphofia, we also bought 3 at a local boot sale, to our surprise this one started flowering not soon after I'd planted it. I guess you get lucky sometimes!

Don't worry Dottydaisy I have two the same in my garden one get s the sun late and the other gets it even later so one will flower first then weeks later the other flowers. Nice photo
