Little unknown beauty.../Martagon lily

This little thing cought my attention today as I was walking I spotted something unusual in the green fern. My first impresion was - well - ferns don't flower, so let me check what's that...
looks like lily to me, but not sure....
and I probably looked funny - sitting on the path in my college gardens in front of fern - with my camera pointed at the base of fern - wonder what people passing by were thinking...lol

yes i think this is also a martagon lily. they thrive in the semi shade.

Thank you a lot Seaburngirl:) will update it:) it was growing from the centre of the fern... have no idea how it got there, lol

a seed will havebeen in the compost and over the years it has developed. or it was already in the ground and you planted over it.
