Perennial to two feet for a sheltered spot in full sun and well-drained soil. Supposedly none too hardy, it came through -8C last winter here

This is growing in the centre I am now teaching in and it is the first time I have seen it as it is much milder than my previous place. It is on the east coast north of Dublin. I really like this, nice flowers AND foliage.
