I was thinning the tree of those stunted fruits. I decided
to give them a try. Very good!. Sweet,smooth..like a Mango should.

They were Andy just exactly like the big ones in taste. Its a wonder how they do that. I'm thinking its a California thing since in Florida the heat and warm nights would have them shed faster. Here,in the cooler Bay Area they keep developing flavor as the larger ones still on the tree.
So funny- mini seed included.
"Designer" Mangoes.

Homebird:
Typically, smaller, immature mangoes taste like turpentine...they're awful.

Its funny because I posted this on a tropical fruit forum and a young lady in soucal said that it inspired her to try a Manila runt that fell of her tree. Sweet-lol. She said she never would have guessed.
I know- pick them that small off of Sapote?- and its bleachh, unedible. Mangoes always surprise.

What so amazing is how your small mangoes actually ripened! They typically don't ripen so small.
