My Alano Sapodilla (or Chico Sapote) has grown very fast over the last 11 months. It typically grows slowly. This tree was less than 4 feet back in January, now it’s 6 ft tall and has one fruit on it. The fruit takes 6 to 9 months to ripen. Photo taken December 16, 2023
