Welcome to the site. Is this the plant that smells citrus like when touched, a cousin of mine had this in her garden years ago and I haven`t seen any since.

I had not noticed any scent from this plant, but it isnt one that is likely to be touched. The leaves are very thistley and where the flowers come out of the stem in the whorls there are a lot of spines. A most unwelcoming plant, but a very attractive one.
