Banana blossom for tea...never heard that sentence before....

I don't why Sandra you wouldn't be able to do the same. Just use the blossom of Musa basjoo.

Ironic that where it can be grown,down to a frigid zone 6...the population is unfamiliar with cooking the bloom. Imagine the waste!

I have my first bananas growing in my tunnel. They seem to like it there so maybe one day I could try your recipie...

Some say it taste like cabbage and makes a good salad.
Nothing complicated like the coconut milk and fish or pork and chicken, recipes that use the banana flower bud.
