What do they taste like? Don't say Opuntias!

Not much taste, to tell you the truth. Just sweet, partly because of the amount of sugar I used, but the fruits don't taste much in the first place; it's a bit like water melons.
Why better not to say "Opuntias", by the way? Sorry, I couldn't get it (*_*;
