How long did that take? It looks like a fairly mature speciman now.

This is the 4th year flowering.Not sure how long it took to flower,but I'm guessing 4 years or so.

Thats not bad then. The seeds of paeony are beautiful. And big. Working on the seed distribution for SRGC allowed me to see seeds I would never come across anywhere else. When I'm too frail to garden I shall just collect seeds.

Vincent-if you are buying a plant,I think the best thing to do is try to see it in flower.You can get disapointing variations in colour.I got lucky,sowed 5 seeds,two germinated and were both this colour.
