I have this for several years Feverfew. I am definitely a peony-holic. I bought 3 new ones this year.

My favorite temperate flowering shrub. I love them; however, they can't grow here it's too hot in winter...not enough hours of chilling to get them to bloom.

You are right Delonix, they need colder winters than you have. I love them too. Pretty flowers, pretty foliage, and deer will ignore them. I have at least dozen plants around.

It's actually much too hot for them to grow. We can't grow apples, cherries and peaches (only low-chill varieties will grow here).
