Hi Delonix :) happy 2013.
I'm so glad you commented it. I need advices for the next steps. I'd like to move it to bigger pots as it grows. And, end up in a pot which will allow the avocado to grow until 1 to 1,50 m.
What I need to know is:
1. Do I cut the top of the plant to avoid it grow longer, and create branches?
2. Which fertilizer I shall use and with which frequency?
3. Does it needs a special soil mix?
Suggestions are welcomed :)

Sorry I missed this comment!
Yes, you can cut the tip of the tree to prevent it from growing too tall. While young avocado trees don't need much fertilizer. Just make sure the soil drains freely, as avocado trees don't like to kept too wet.

Hi Delonix,
Thank you for your comment.
The avocato and myself were waiting for it. It grew taller, since this picture. I'm measuring it, and will wait until it grows around 1 meter before cut the tip. What you tihnk about it?

That's a god size for it to branch inside a pot.

I will be watching for your posts. My son and I started an avocado pit this Winter. It has one root and I think it is about to grow a shoot from the top.
