Took this photo of one of my red cowslips this afternoon but it wasn't until I had it blown up on the computer that the edges look like the golden edge that you get on Gold Lace Primula's

Thanks guys.I am thinking of asking at one of the gardening magazines if this plant is unusual because although I have quiet a few different coloured Cowslips and a couple of the Gold Lace Primulas have never seen before a Cowslip showing the Gold Lace markings.....
