Very pretty, how old is this one? I've just planted some and I wonder if I have given them enough space ( I like to pack a lot in! )
Ps congrats on finishing work, I think I will be about 75 when I get to do that :-(

Oh Annella....I hope you love your job!!....I don't know if they need a lot of room. mine are hemmed in by violets and campanulas and all kinds of things, but then the garden is new so there is still space around stuff. This one was taken in my old garden. The first one in my new garden flowered today!! A lovely maroon colour - or wine red! It was planted last year. I think they like good drainage and sunshine...at least that's what mine have and they are all doing well!

Thanks Karen, I usualy work on the priniple that you can always thin things out but I don't think these like to be moved. As for the job, accounts keeps me living in this house so got to keep going :-))
