Me too, Motty ... may try to grow one in a pot as they dislike my garden ... :o(

I've found they need full sun, also really fierce drainage to get them through the winter. My soil is slightly acid (which they are not too fond of either), but by growing them right beside the drive, where they can get their roots into scalpings and cement, they are relatively happy

Thanks for the info., Andrew ... I shall divide the one in Mums South facing front garden and plant a piece in my gravel garden ...
