This Flame vine was taking over a huge area at the S.D. Zoo Safari Park. It should be finishing its blooming period soon...as it typically blooms from Nov - April. Photo taken March 8, 2011.

Alexandramou:
If you have a Flame vine...and it's tiny now...it won't be for long, as it's a very fast growing vine. :>)

Delonix, it was about five feet high then it trailed itself under my Bottle brush. Had to trail it back to the fence but couldn't get it with it's root. Planted the twig....it started growing nicely then Mr. dog stepped on it and it's down to about a half a foot now. It will be nice this summer, you're right they do grow very rast.
