Shivering Royal Palm (Roystonea regia) in Cloudy, Gloomy San Diego, CA.

Shivering Royal Palm (Roystonea regia) in Cloudy, Gloomy San Diego, CA. (Roystonea regia - Royal Palm)

Our 4th of July Holiday was the coldest I've ever experienced in San Diego, CA. We've had well below normal temps for spring and now for the beginning of summer. I guess no typical "July Fry" for this year.

86 - 92 degrees F./ 30 - 34 degrees C. should to be our normal high temps here for inland San Diego. I guess your getting our weather. lol : > ) You deserve it though...especially after your cold winter.

Pretty much everyone has been warmer than us lately. On the coast it's only been up to around 68F/ 20C (which is our normal average high for January) and inland only around 80F/ 27C...all temps are a good 10 - 12 degrees below normal.
So many people are complaining -- IT'S TOO COLD! : > )

If 20 is too cold for you San Deigoans you wouldn't survive here in winter at all...............LOL

Mushybanna:

You are very correct, us San Diegans wouldn't survive at all! LOL! : > )

You have consider though, our normal highs in January are between 68F/20C and 72F/22C (and many times it can be much warmer) depending on what part of San Diego one lives.
