Looks best viewed at flower level - took a battering from the wind. I grow this in 3 different spots in the garden - flowers later on the shadier side.

That's a shame Karen. I've had mine 3 years and they have always flowered.
Do you have an idea of why it's not flowering?

Nope it's s. hakusanensis...thankfully the foliage is extremely pretty, and actually quite jungly looking, or it would be hauled out! maybe next year....

no flowers on my Sanguisorba...now in its third year. lovely leaves, but no signs of flowers on either of two plants. Disappointed. :(
