Smyrnium perfoliatum - 2014

Often mistaken for some sort of euphorbia, due to the colouring. Typically a couple of feet tall, but can reach double that, in sun or part shade. It's a biennial, but like foxgloves, once you've got it established, it keeps coming back year after year.
