Coming into flower - I had some dead wood to prune out, but it came through the winter quite well.

I love the curtain of mauve flowers against the wall - my favourite garden seat is near this. Pity it doesn't have a scent!

I saw some of these grown into topary trees the other day somehow just did'nt look quite right. much better against a wall i think.
