Spathodea campanulata - African Tulip trees grow very strangly here. They all seem to be on their own blooming schedule. Most bloom in late Spring - Fall...however, I have seen them blooming every month of the year. One off the freeway in Downtown San Diego was in complete full bloom this past January...which is not usual...however, we were having a January heat wave at the time. I've stopped trying to understand these trees. LOL!

I know exactly what you mean - mine has just started flowering again but the neighbour down the road has a tree full of flowers! This is definitely a tree where each one walks to the beat of its own drum.
