Syringa vulgaris 'Madame Lemoine' (Syringa vulgaris 'Madame Lemoine')

Now in its 18th spring, this lilac has dense double white flowers and is slowly making a fairly upright tree on heavy clay soil. The only disadvantage is the dead flowers look unsightly
