Took a few more as the light fades.
This was the best of the bunch - flicked the flash on for a few, & this one was the best.
With each solution comes a problem though. In this case it's the shadow on the bloom, especially the uppermost leaf.

I love the pale colour Meanie.......I have the deeper blue ones but they dont have a flower head yet.....

I did some without flash, but I really liked the effect of the flash. I'll get a little more serious at the weekend & try different ISO settings etc.
