Trifolium repens Purpurascens Quadrofolium

Trifolium repens Purpurascens Quadrofolium (Trifolium repens)

Sparse flowers, due to being pot bound I think!

Think I have the same thing without the purpurascens! Bought it recently and still not planted as could not decide whether to pot or plant in ground - was told it could be a bit invasive. I bought it for the bees really so flowers are necessary. In the ground after all maybe?

Tuesday, I was advised to keep it in a pot as it is invasive. I bought it for the bees too. This one was tiny and filled the pot (10 inch diameter) last year. All my larger pots are full so I'm on the look out for another one.
Annie, it looks really good in the terracotta, need a larger one now!

Thanks for the advice, Angie - will go for pot then, but as with you, all my pots are full! Am always on the lookout for slight seconds or weird and wonderful objects from charity shops etc., which could be recycled as containers. New ones are so expensive, especially when looking for something larger.
