Love the plaited stem. I pruned a neighbour's Wisteria once a long time ago and did it after the plant had finished flowering. cut back to about six inches each flowering stem. Don't know whether that was right or not but I had a go.

What else?
See who else is growing Wisteria floribunda (Japanese Wisteria) Rosea.
See who else has plants in genus Wisteria.

Beautiful...it will soon be full of colour(if the frost doesn't get the blooms)
We brought a potted Wisteria with us but it doesn't seem to have travelled well. It got neglected last summer and dried out a few times and then a few bits broken off in the move so, no flowers this year but, I shall plant it in the ground and feed/prune it and see tips we can get some blooms next year!
