At least the snails leave this alone...thank goodness!

I swear by used coffee grounds to take care of the slugs 'n snails now!

Really? They take no notice in my garden - they seem to arrive from above! I have a pack of copper rings that came from eBay today. I'm going to try them.

They have had a feast in the coldframe, but practically nothing in the ground is munched.

That's good news. I wish they'd leave my lupins alone! I'm getting slugs as well this year - I'm not normally bothered by them. YUK!

lost lupins and delphiniums to slugs. Found 3 in a yellow flag iris. they went for a short flight into the pasture next door.

They have loved the rain, ours are so tall this year.....

I've just planted my two tiny baby ZA 'Green Goddess'. They will be loving all this rain! I love these plants, really love them. I had one before but it was in totally the wrong place. I thought I'd lost it moving it, but it did survive but not great, so I thought I'd start again when I got the pond. Needless to say, there is no room at the pond, so they've had to go in a mixed border. I'm not sure how they will 'blend' with the other plants in there, but time will tell and I'm glad to see yours happy amongst other perennials B!

It's deceptive, K. It's growing on the stream bank, and the other plants you can see are Ligularias, which enjoy damp feet as well.

Good luck with yours.
