Horticultural 'goofs'

We all do some, my worst choice of plant was this one…
Allium Triquetrum – it has a traingle shaped stem
I wanted some natural looking areas, through which pretty flowers would pop up in spring, little did I know I had purchased a prolific thug with a speed of breeding rate 100 times faster than rabbits!
14 years later I am still digging them out of my garden.
So the moral of the story is be wary if it says ‘good for naturalising’ on the label.

I put a wild garlic on our wild bank next to the bluebells. (The leaves are great in ham sandwiches) There's still only one of it, but i do worry whether to take it out now while there's still time!"

They have 'escaped' from my garden onto the verge outside now and although they are pretty en masse, there must be at least a thousand plants there now. They are pretty, but they are a bit like vinca really bad news for the for an average sized garden!

LOL, my hubby is no gardener, I am dreading the fact that he's going to have to do certain jobs for me and one of them will be cutting my hedges, lol.....

That's a shame, as it looks so innocent and beautiful.
