Hi Everyone, I’ve just joined this site after reading the lovely conversations going on about a common love of our plants and gardens.I’m a keen novice,who could do with some idea’s and guidence and maybe a few ‘secret tips’.I live in the North-East, but my town seems to have it’s own micro- climate, just to make gardening even easier (NOT!) I’d also be gratefull if anyone knew of Seed Swaps in my area,I’m always left with half packets and too many seedlings etc. Thanks.

So welcoming, it's like leaning over your garden fence and having a good natter! Hi Clarice, fellow cat lover? ya either hate em or love em.Spritzhenry, I'm saving up for a camera so I can chart my front garden transformation.Starting from scratch,got to take a sloping chunk of turf out,try to flatten the landscape,or am I better off keeping a slight decline for drainage? It slopes towards the house,SSE facing,sun from about 1pm but I don't have a compus, any advice is greatly appreciated!. I,m getting the fence built at the end of the month,hopefully,if the purse strings allow!

if you click on garden plants at the foot of the page, then when the page comes up at the bottom it says seed exchange if you click on that it brings up a page where people put which seeds they have to exchange.
