I love growing veg,but in containers in my back yard.So far this year I have peas, carrots,radish's, spring onions,beetroot,spinach, potato's,tomato's, strawberries and a strange turnip that tastes like melon called "Oasis" My front garden is TINY,only 15 foot by 16 foot.I'm building a fence at the moment.I.ve only been in my house for 3 yrs and mobility is a problem but nothing makes me happier than having earth under my nails!! I love poppies,oriental one's preferably.I also have a passion for "different" plants,not the same stuff that everyone seems to have! Black grass "Ophiogon Planiscapus-Niger",'Rose-Black Baccara' and 'Blue Moon' and other similar things.I adore Aquilegia,finally had a success with some from seed.I,m an enthusiastic amatuer with a thirst for knowledge!
