how does one protect an "angels trumpet" plant that has become more of a tree than a bush,so has to stay in garden
These plants are best grown in the greenhouse border or in large pots that can be taken into a greenhouse in winter, they need a minimum of 45deg f in winter and kept just moist, they can be pruned hard back annually in february to about 6" from the base, in the wild they are evergreen but deciduous when overwintered in cool conditions, Derek.
