I harvest them at different stages of ripeness as they have different levels of heat. so its up to you. they freeze well too.

I have never seen a black chilli turn green??

Do you mean green turning black?

For example a red chilli will go from green through black to red

Similarly with a yellow one; green through black to yellow

Teegee i don't suppose you know anything about the chilli explosive embers, its a purple one, only got tiny fruit :( but it is very pretty!
