How soon after the flowers drop can I cut back my lillies to ground level? Are you supposed to leave the stalks and leaves for a while to absorb light etc or doesn't it really matter? I don't like them without the flowers! Many thanks.

I leave ours until they are dead and starting to get blown about. This allows them to send the energy from the stalk and leaves back into the bulb for next year.
