Are there plants or trees that like tea leaves in the mulch?

You can put tealeaves and teabags in mulch or in compost. They are organic and will rot down . I also pour tea from the teapot (cold ofcourse) on to pots and tubs. It is said to contain potassium which I believe is good for flowering.

I find that the actual bags don;t rot down very easily, so I rip them open before putting them on the compo - bit of a faff tho...
