Sweet pea(sugar -n spice)

High all I, have been growing a dwarf variety of Sweet Pea in two windows boxes, they seem to be growing fine expect there are a 'Pods' which have started forming, it this normally?

it is normal but pull them off and then it should keep flowering. do not eat the pods though.
