Life span of boxwood
By Ron

Obviously, we know that plants live somewhere between a few hours and several thousand years, but does anyone know the typical life span of boxwood?
I have some 15 (or so) year old boxwod around my deck and they've done very well until last year. Now two are essentially dead and a couple more are looking stressed. I'm wondering whether to replace them (sadly with much smaller specimens) or are most of them simply reaching the end of their lives. If that's the case, I'd probably opt to put them ALL out and replace with .... hmmmm ..... maybe ornamental grass.
Thanks,
Ron
